At the age of 15 Pree went to India and heard the sounds of the Dhol. The Dhol is the heart and soul of Punjabi sound today. Bringing his own Dhol back to California, Pree began his journey into traditional folk music.
Teaching himself for 2 years Pree started to play for local parties and bands. Making a name for having great hands, he was able to take it to the next level. Pree began doing shows across the country. From being in Washington DC with Sukhshinder Shinda or headlining a show in FL, Pree started to expose himself to the indian scene. With the opportunity to play with people such as Surinder Shinda, Harpajan Mann, Sukhshinder Shinda, RDB, Manak E, Jassi Sidhu… and the list goes on.
Now at the tender age of 20, Pree Mayall has switched gears a bit. Taking his passion for music, Pree now not only plays dhol, but has now started producing. He first started with just a small computer to make a simple beat and how now expanded to a range of a studio. Now working with Universal Recording artist Mondo from Italy, Pree is working on a group of new projects that will spark fire for the new scene of music.
