Details:
The singer/songwriter Dean Davidson, creates his musical soulful path between New York City, Jersey City and Philadelphia. This is where a beautiful community has come together with Dean’s music and a place he calls https://www.tradebit.com debut CD ''Drive My Karma'' started its journey a few years ago.
“I''d write most of my songs and ideas into my journal at many diners between Jersey and Philadelphia. I’m most creative in my comfort zone. To me diners have every type of emotion around you. It''s not about all the glitter and vanity, it''s a place you walk into where there’s a strange comfortable unconditional togetherness between everyone that goes there. For me I take in all the stories and gossip that’s talked about. Love, broken love, pain, hope, belief, happiness, karma, and loneliness. All these emotions walk through that diner door and talk about life over a cup of coffee and cigarettes. This has been my mojo for song writing!”
”I basically put myself in the center of this encyclopedia diner of Americana life and soak up every bit of what is talked about. For me, it''s a songwriters dream. Playing music is about having something to say. If you don’t have any meaning in your song, basically your song is hollow. I write songs that are not pretentious in any way. I’m not worrying about the music charts or numbers, or writing songs for someone based upon what the flavor of the week is. I write songs for me, songs that sing true along side my emotions. To me that makes a song believable, and with that honesty a song can reach someone and take that person to a place that they understand and what means the most to them! I have to say, for me that feeling is priceless - more then all the celebrity bling'' bling''!”
