MP3 Easy Way Out - Steal The Show
This disc offers a variety of sound summoning the heavy spirit of artists like Audio Slave, Faith No More, Foo Fighters and even Black Sabbath, peppered with funk and accented by an aggressive barrage of hip hop.
Details:
Toronto, On., rock and Hip Hop evolutionists Easy Way Out formed their current line up in the summer of 2006, when, as an instrumental trio, Guitarist Mauro Cecchi, Bassist Andrew Ferrari and Drummer Mark Cesario enlisted the help of rock vocalist Jason Flores-Holz and long time collaborator, rap archetype George Reefah. Together, Easy Way Out, began fashioning a sound summoning the heavy spirit of artists like Audio Slave, Foo Fighters and even Black Sabbath, peppered with funk, progressive rock and accented by an aggressive barrage of hip hop. Making good use of an EP recorded in 2004, vocals were added, new art was created for the cover and a late 2006 sold out release marked the beginning of a successful string of shows in Toronto. Easy Way Out played to increasing numbers at every show, often stealing the thunder from acts they were opening for. The Drake Underground, The Gladstone, The ElMocambo, Lee''s Palace and The Legendary Horseshoe Tavern are just a handful of the venues that Easy Way Out played. By May of 2007, the decision was made to take a break from live shows and record a full length album, aptly titled; Steal the Show. During the various stages of recording, Easy Way Out were fortunate enough to have the opportunity to take the stage at The Phoenix Concert Theatre, Toronto''s Indie Week festival and an opening slot for Ill Scarlett at the Foundation in Barrie, On. "Steal the Show" was finally released in January 2008 with the help of Indie Love Radio which has become a new home on the net for Easy Way Out. EWO keep writing new tunes and booking gigs beyond the GTA and stepping onto stages across Ontario bringing their original sound to the masses... including an incredible opportunity to play Dundas Square in Toronto in early May, 08.
