Laura Valle has experimented with jazz, tango, flamenco, south American folk and even electronic music. She spend her early years intensely involved in the cultural life of Buenos Aires, then traveled around the world and toured with several bands while studying music in Europe. After graduating from the Music Academy of Basel in Switzerland, she moved to southern California and started her own band to create a new world music fusion.
Valle creates exotic fusions like cumbia lounge, candombe soul, Argentinean folk- jazz and acoustic drum and bass inspired grooves, bringing together South American roots and North American culture in her songwriting.
Co-produced with Argentinean guitar player and writer Juan Pablo Lazo, “PERLAS” was created and recorded between Argentina, Europe and USA in collaboration with talented artists and songwriters like Henri Texier, Daniel Maza, Matt Fronke, Facundo Guevara and Abel Rogantini. Smooth, soulful, full of rich instrumental layers and moods, this Album is a work of global projection sung by Laura Valle in Spanish and English. Laura sings " Distant like the light one day my heart will travel. Now in your arms I''m temple of water and song"
