Paul Andrew Ulysses Lamb was in Detoit and raised on the streets of an east side community known as Harper Woods. At age three his father bought him a Jimi Hendrix album for his birthday, it changed his life. Paul became an avid music collector. By listening to his records over and over it ingrained his love for music and his dream of making a career out of it.
P-A-U-L has been performing for nearly fifteen years. He has shared the stage with many renowned artists. In the mid nineties P-A-U-L began playing with The Glory Revival, an 8-piece Phoenix Arizona band which as the front man, P-A-U-L wrote, and produced the material. The band was signed to a Phoenix label that had the band record two albums in Detroit Michigan. There he was introduced and asked to play with other Detroit acts, The Ethan Daniel Davidson 5 as well as Darren McCarty’s Grinder. While in Detroit, doing session work for Rustbelt Studios, Paul ended up recording and touring with Shannon Curfman and Lennon Murphy.
P-A-U-L recently released his debut album titled ‘Hangin On For Dear Life’, a compilation of original songs that serve as a lyrical memoir for the roads he’s traveled during his accomplished career. He plans to tour the United States and Europe later this year with his new band, The Harper Woods Heroes
