This is the debut CD from Presence of Mind. Their sound is a diverse blend of musical influences, past and present.
In Sept. of 06 the idea for this project was conceived when Johnny approached Billy about the idea of writing and recording original material. Both had been playing the local club circuit for over 20 years in a variety of different bands and genres of music.
After purchasing some recording equipment, both started writing music and words and the process began. After several songs had been written, Johnny called upon two long time friends that he recruited for vocals and lead guitar. In came Nancy and Greg. Johnny had played with both before and knew Nancy and Greg had what he was looking for in the vocals and guitar work for this album. The result is this debut CD.
The music is guitar driven with dynamic vocals and a strong back beat. This is the first but will not be the last material from this group of musicians.
