Jake and Amy make treats for the birds, animals, and Tukies. They are anxious to hang them in their old apple tree as a special thank you treat for the animals and Tukies who helped them find their way home when they were lost in the forest. The next morning, the family looks at the different paw prints left in the snow beneath the old apple tree. The children’s parents are puzzled because they’ve never seen a footprint that looks like a heart with toes on top, but Jake and Amy know who made those special prints! The children learn about compassion and when kindness is given, kindness is returned.
