Learn How to Play the Guitar
Hello everyone

So you would like to learn how to play the Guitar
I am an ex Guitar player from many bands over the years
And I fully understand the difficulty in making a song sound like a song
The books and computer programs are not working
Far too technical and you find it hard to understand
Well Firstly
Dont go out and buy an expensive guitar
Coz it eventually ends up in the corner of the front room collecting dust
And you are really frustrated that you cant play it.
Buy a very cheap acoustic guitar first
I say this Because in your frustration you can end up throwing it across the room pretty often
It wouldnt matter if you are putting your fingers in the right place if your guitar is all out of tune
It would still sound like crap
And you would just give up and move on to your next fad / idea
So here is where to begin

1 Learn to Tune the strings first  ( instruction text is at the bottom)
2 Choose just 3 chords ignore the rest for the time being A,D and E  is the best place to start
3 concentrate on changing these 3 chord positions and as smoothly as you can
4 try different rythmm strokes with your right hand
5 Theres Loads of time to start introducing other new chords much later
6 Patients: Be patient, we all know that Rome wasnt built in a day, it all takes time and patience
7 Practice , Practice , Practice,  Just 1 or 2 hours per day then put it down until tomorrow

I have personally chosen a song that i believe everybody knows
Its a pretty awful song from Paul Mcartney and wings
Called Mull of Kintyre
I think we all know how it goes and its one of the easiest songs to learn
In fact you will amaze yourself how quickly you can produce a real song from your guitar
Amaze your friends and family too
