Details:
Originally based in San Jose, California, Super Sancho began in 1998 to share its music in the Bay Area. Greatly influenced by the Beatles, John Lennon, Jimmy Hendrix, and classic Rock n’ Roll in general, Super Sancho began to explore a mix between the classic styles and new sounds.
Super Sancho, as it exists today, is the creation of Mexican composer/musician/singer Luis Enrique Reyes. Reyes’ ambition to share his own compositions led to the Spanish language 2007 recording and release of Reyes’ first album as Super Sancho, “Super Sancho ‘En Acción’ ”.
Currently, you will find Super Sancho in their second home, Puerto Rico, working together, sharing their music throughout the island. 2007 also brings manager/producer, Chandra Allen, to the group, as well as collaboration by current group members such as lead guitarist, Uriel Tafoya’s, creativity to the design on the “En Acción” CD cover.
Their latest song "Platypus" reflects their lighter side and fun nature, originally inspired by a pair of shoes.
