Three and Out is the third CD by The Arctic Zone (Stephen Paul Dix). It is an eclectic mix of music . It starts out as a gothy new wave influenced rock album , Shifting into celtic folk , electronic experimentation and finally winding down with a series of Stephen''s most beautiful ambient music to date. The CD was performed almost entirely by Stephen who played the electric and accoustic guitars as well as synths and the wurlitzer . On this CD Stephen also played mandolin on the tracks "Sif and a Spliff ", "Pure Love ", and "Still Speaking" a track co written with Carmen Silva of Claire on a Dare .Carmen also sang with fellow bandmate Sage on the song "Worth The Wait". Laine Scandalis also sang on "Worth The Wait "," Young Girl Blues", as well as the The Songs "1987"and "Girl # 2" , two of the standout songs on this collection .
