Nina Mutal, singer / songwriter based in Peru. In 1995 she releases AHORA, and “Enamorados”, the first single from this album, reaches number one on several of the most important local radio charts in Perú. As a result of this achievement, the song starts playing in countries such as Guatemala, Costa Rica, Uruguay and Paraguay. The second single, “Vamos a Bailar”, continues to make progress at the international level reaching the number one spot at Polski Radio, the most important Pop radio station in Poland. Additionally, with this record, Nina obtained the Premio Diana award as the top singer / songwriter of that year. She also took part in very important and massive live events and was nominated to the Bertoloto Awards for video of the year and song of the year with “Enamorados”. In 1999 Nina was invited by the United Nations’ Information Center to perform her song “Tierra” (Earth) as a part of the official celebrations for the World Enviroment Day. In 2001, NAVEGANTE was released and the cut “Y Cómo Estás Corazón” became the theme song for “Gente Como Uno”, a popular soap opera (Telenovela) directed by Michel Gómez. As result, the song became widely accepted and Nina was chosen as the best singer / songwriter for that year by POP (Peruana de Opinión Pública), a public opinion research firm.
