Look closely at the photo on the cover of the CD. It''s a bit like an old painting by Rubens, except for the clothes and the instuments. This is not suprising. That particular gig happened in a bar in Ruben''s old home town of Antwerp, Belgium, in 2007. Three hundred years earlier and you could have expected Paul Rubens himself to be sitting in the audience. That particular night, we were playing to remember an old pal, who was also a painter. Most of the people at ''Frank''s Farewell'' were artists of some sort.
