I am a clasically trained pianist and began my composing career 12 years ago.
I lived all over the world during my formative years due to family circumstances and have been blessed to have studied with some wonderful teachers/artists and performers.
I began writing music at the age of 23 while seriously ill and it was the emotional turmoil of that lengthy experience/battle which has fuelled my writing even to this day.
I do not over romanticise the creative process. Writing music is something I can do. It comes from somewhere inside me. It is simply an expressive extension of how I feel and how I express my emotions.
I am simultaneously delighted and apprehensive about sharing my work with a wider audience.
I hope very much that my work means something to those who listen to it.
