The way in which this band has paved it''s own path has become one of the most encouraging signs of talent in the current music scene. Over the past four years, the Connecticut-based quintet has sold an impressive number of their three self-released albums. Touring extensively and catering to a dedicated following has propelled Fivewise into one of the most successful acts on the East Coast.
Since their formation in 1998, the band has traveled to three countries, eighteen states, and averaged more than 200 packed shows a year. Along the way, they have set record attendance up and down the east coast from Maine to Florida. Playing Colleges and Universities has been their secret to selling out commercial venues in strong college markets.
The fact that Fivewise has accomplished this without the benefit of radio airplay says much about their professionalism, passion and devotion to their fans and future. In the summer of 2003, the band started recording their debut album with producer David Bendeth, (RCA/Red/Sony), which is due out in the near future.
