Description: The music shows a blend of American and British indie rock sensibility with unique sounding guitars, harmonies, and memorable hooks. The debut CD includes songs that have a range of both tempo and temperament.

Bio: The Fletchers is the solo project of singer-songwriter Gary Kaplan formerly of the bands Rotator Cuff and Dandelion Fire. The debut CD "Bright Blue Lights" contains 12 songs which reflect a variety of influences with a distinctive style. Gary had successful runs with both Rotator Cuff and Dandelion Fire in the 90’s. Dandelion Fire opening for the likes of Blur, The Charlatans and Catherine Wheel and eventually signed to Shimmy Disc/ Koko Pop. Rotator Cuff became a buzz following the release of an EP with the single "Alfa Romeo" on Park N Ride Records out of San Francisco. The Video for Alfa Romeo was featured on MTV’s120 minutes and the music on House of Style, The Real World and unfiltered.

Additional credits: The new CD also features Dan Coffey on Bass/Backing vocals Brian Impellazeri/Cliff Heaton on drums as well as Kim Henry on guitars. Additional backing vocals were sung by Phil Pirri and Chi Lui. The CD was recorded by Arthur Dorety, mixed and produced by Gary Kaplan & Arthur Dorety. Final production & editing was done by Kevin Wiggins. The CD mastering was done by Alan Douches.
