Great Scott! was born in the Fall of 2002. 300 shows later, in four midwest states (Indiana, Kentucky, Illinois, and Missouri) and they are better than ever. Band members include Jason Kuykendall, drums; Chad Moore, guitar; Matt Nysewander, guitar; Andy Cool, bass; Brett Wiscons, vocals. GS! started out as a cover band but that all changed with the addition of several original tunes. The first studio album was released in May of 2004 and has received air play at several radio stations around the Indianapolis area. The new EP was released in November 2006 and features 4 brand new songs and a re-worked rendition of "walkin'' away" off of the first full length record. Their original music has traces of alternative, country, pop, and rock with great harmonies, a driving bass section, and sing-a-long choruses. Their fans truly enjoy the music and the energy coming off the stage . With hundreds of shows under their belts they are as tight as ever and hitting their stride. They have opened for national recording acts, Virginia Coalition and Bowling for Soup and singer Brett Wiscons has shared the stage with national band, the Pat McGee Band. He was invited on stage to sing their hit, ''Rebecca'' at the Vogue Nightclub in Indianapolis in ''05.
