Details:
Circle of Time is a collection of instrumental new age music that will warm the heart and guide you on your own special journey through time. This is the first release in five years from New Age musician and artist, Gregory.
Circle of Time is a reflection of the cycle of life and the universe. Closely examine the cover art and you will find a depiction of cycles representing earth, moon, time and space. Within these cycles, we as souls, will take a journey. Depending on your beliefs, perhaps several journies. The music represents a journey from the opening number titled, "Sunrise Over Stonehenge", to the final composition, "Sweet Dreams." As a listener, you can associate your own experiences, dreams and fantasies into a unique experience that is solely your own. The music will guide you and can be enjoyed in meditation as well as background while you tend to your busy day.
Of special note, a few weeks prior to the CD release, Gregory visited Stonehenge in England and had the opportunity to listen to the composition that had been written only days earlier, "Sunrise Over Stonehenge" while sitting in the presence of the stones. The composition was inspired from a prior visit two years earlier. "It was an experience I cannot explain, the type where your body tingles all over and you are overcome with emotion and happiness. It was as if the stones were speaking to me and welcoming me back into their presence with a special joy and awareness that they had inspired a creation of sound and vibration." On the inner cover there is a photo of Stonehenge, capturing that special moment.
Several of the compositions have a story. For example, "Circle of Time" contains the sound of a cricket. There is a story behind recording this cricket nearly twenty years earlier. An early version of "Galen''s Journey" was originaly written fifteen years earlier as a birthday present for Galen B., a 4-year old at the time. The composition had potential and was ultimately developed into what you hear on the CD.
Take your own journey through time and allow the music to provide guideposts as you walk the path you were meant to walk. There is no limit on the number of journies down the path of life and each listening experience may take you down a different path only you will know, experience, and share if you so desire. Blessings.
