Singer/Guitarist Erko Nomm, originally from Estonia, started playing in mid 90''s and has been writing music since 2002. Growing up in Northern Europe Erko was hugely influenced by metal and later years in Canada by hard rock. His biggest influences include Alice in Chains, Nirvana, Metallica, Children of Bodom, Apocalyptica to name a few. While continually improving his guitar playing skills he started focusing on songwriting and vocal practice. He begun playing with local musicians and took a third place in year long Calgary battle of bands in 2004, the line up he played with was called Unchained. In 2005 he met drummer David Espinel with whom he worked on developing his originals. A few months later his first song Mortal Man was recorded and produced by Cory Bitner. David and Erko continued playing shows in B.C. and Calgary and realized soon that Erko''s music was well received by many people. They were gaining more fans by networking through Myspace, getting known among local bands and got a lot of compliments on Moratl Man. Erko formed "Throttlecaster" with David Espinel, Aaron Lewis and Shawn Roberts in 2006 and continued playing shows with newly formed full line up. The next goal was to record a full length album, but it took him another full year until he had finances to it. In 2007 he worked with a producer/guitarist Cory Bitner and the ten best songs became an album called “Restless Journey”. Erko''s songs are a reflection of his life, his past and life’s stories. When growing up in Estonia Erko lived under the Soviet rule, his songs speak about real life issues, inner feelings, struggles, war, things that a lot of people can relate to. Due to a greater opportunities, Erko relocated to British Columbia and is now working in Vancouver. He parted ways with his former band members and united with pro players Josh Bolen and Phil Balckman
