Mark Gandy is a Delaware based singer, songwriter and performer of original country music. His band "Whiskey River" is currently performing throughout the North Eastern United States. He has performed for such acts as Faith Hill, John Michael Montgomery, Neil McCoy and Brooks & Dunn at the Tangier''s music festival in Christfield Maryland, as well as Trisha Yearwood, Hal Ketchum and Leroy Parnel at a Delaware based radio 94.7 WDSD listener appreciation concert at Frawley stadium in Wilmington, DE. Mark''s album "Long Time Coming" recently completed a European radio promotion, and several songs were put into steady rotation on over 50 radio stations throughout Europe and the United https://www.tradebit.comum favorites include "The Cowboy Blues", "Workin'' Man", "Honky Tonkin and Loving You" and "Where Are You Now". Most recently Mark''s music has been featured on Delaware based 93.7 Radio''s Sunday evening program "Home Town Hero''s" which airs every Sunday evening from 9:00pm to 11:00pm. In March of 2005 Mark signed a recording contract with Norristown PA based record label "LITO Records". Mark is listed in the April issue of "Poll Star" magazine, ( a national publication for the recording industry), as a new artist signing. The new album "Honky Tonk Hero" will be released on July 12th and will feature current Whiskey River Band members Dave Walker on Drums, Chuck Amidon on guitar and harmonica, Ira Sherman on bass and backing vocals as well as new band addition Scott Dinolfi on acoustic guitar and vocals, "Long Time Coming" guitarist Mark Johnson on guitar, Tommy Alderson on guitar, Delaware native Wayne Tyler on Pedal Steel, Jeff Duffield on keyboards and Nashville session player/Grand Ole Opry performer Travis Wetzel on fiddle and mandolin.
