Details:
Tired of the rubbish that overflows music stores and overcrowds airwaves, Ketaset is taking the initiative to bring gut-wrenching power, intelligent song writing, explosive stage antics, and unsurpassable musicianship back to the world. Comprised of bassist Josh Newell, vocalist Nathan Newell, guitarist Eric Franklin, and drummer Mark Kough, Ketaset has created enough musical power to destroy anything in its wake. Influenced by everything from Pachelbel to Pantera and armed with a demo Produced by Dan Certa (Helmet, Devil Driver), these lads have stormed stages from Austin, TX (SXSW festival two years in a row), all the way to Hollywood’s legendary Whisky a Go Go, Troubadour and Key Club.

Determined to take their brand of thinking-man’s metal to more than the confines of Ketaset’s Tennesseean birthplace, Mark and Josh forged on to Los Angeles where they met Eric. Shortly after, Josh’s brother Nathan followed from Tennessee. With Mark Kough’s rhythmic prowess that would make even the members of Meshuggah shake their heads, Eric Franklin’s blazing chops that made the legendary Dimebag Darrell stand up and shout, “Turn This Fucker Up!!!,” Josh Newell’s inventive bass work, and Nathan Newell’s voice that carries the same power of the world’s most violent storms, Ketaset is here to make music that moves you, crushes you and makes you want to turn up your stereo once again.
