"Heavenly" is the gorgeous sophomore album from Emmy-nominated singer/songwriter Jane French. French is the voice and writer behind NBC''s Passions popular theme song, "Breathe". "Breathe" was nominated for an Emmy Award in 2000.
Jane collaborated with writers and musicians, Matt Smith and Gary Garwood on "Heavenly". The three Ohioans wrote and recorded the entire album long distance. It was a great and rewarding experience.
Jane was signed to NBC Records as their first ever artist in 2000 shortly after being nominated for an Emmy. They went on to release, "Breathe" as a single and video and she also appeared on the NBC Celebrity Christmas CD with Marie Osmond and Jay Leno that benefited the Children''s Miracle Network. Jane has appeared in venues ranging from Rockefeller Center in NYC to The Groove at Orlando''s famous City Walk.
Jane grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio and was involved in the arts from an early age. As well as singing many jingles for Kenner Toys as a little girl, "you can make it with Playdoh....", she studied dance and piano. Throughout high school she was the lead singer of two bands, and after studying fashion design at UC, she reconnected with John Henry, whom she collaborated with on "Breathe" and many other songs for Passions. Jane''s first full-length independent album was "Euphoria", released in 2002.
Fast forward to 2008, the release of "Heavenly". The first single, "I Promise" is a song that evokes ethereal images over a beautiful, sweet melody. Make sure to check it out!!!!!
