Kemman is a 3-piece instrumental progressive rock/metal band from Chicago that has been around for 15+ years. The band formed in the early 1990s only to have it pushed to the side due the the success of their then current bands Hot Stove Jimmy, Monsignors, and Tango Wedding Band and then more recently Cougars and Rules of Attraction. They just put out their first CD, The Long Rocker (recorded by Greg Norman of Electrical Audio fame). They have been compared to bands like Tar, Tool, and other similar artists, but with a slightly more melodic edge.
