Kate''s Mirror formed in 2007. All the song arrangements on the album were the collaborative effort of Scott Wayne Indiana, Andrew Duden, Noah Skusse, and Scotty Fetner. The album was recorded live at PermaPress studios in Portland, Oregon in April, 2008. Pat Kearns, our sound engineer, did an exceptional job capturing the spontaneous, high energy sound of our band. The sound of our music is consistent with the DIY values which our band embraces: freedom, punk, a look to the future, and the creation, reproduction, and distribution of art for art''s sake. If you purchase the album, the packaging is all DIY as well. Scott Wayne Indiana, best knowns as a conceptual installation artist in Portland, Oregon, designed the packaging with a deliberate DIY aesthetic in mind.
