After doing an acoustic album at home, Eric wanted to take the music to the next level. Holly & the Hummingbird was recorded to analog tape with great studio musicians. Eric played the guitars, keyboards, and harmonica. Musicians were brought in to do everything else. You''d think by hearing the album that Eric had his own band, but the musicians only heard the songs a couple of times before putting their parts on. What you''ll hear is an album very influenced by the 60''s, 70''s, and trying to recapture the magic from that era. Lots of acoustic guitars and tasteful lead and slide guitars as well.
