The Stranded Lads were formed in November of 1985 by singer/songwriter Andrew John. The Lads made several recordings in the late 80''s and early 90''s that are now part of a double compilation CD called Reservoir I and II. The Band decided to go on hiatus in the summer of 1994, and since December of 1996 have only performed a handful of shows for special occasions. In the spring of 2006 The Stranded Lads recorded a new CD called Psychic Surgery, and currently have plans to do a couple of shows a year.
