Susan Cantey''s (Macintyre/Gaines) passion has always been music, especially singing and playing piano. She has written hundreds of songs and instrumental pieces over the last forty years. Susan loves all genres of music, especially when they have a Christian message. Most of her compositions are spiritual. She has also written many songs about mathematics! Teaching mathematics has provided Susan with a satisfactory living and afforded her the opportunity to indulge in her music making. The artwork for this CD is by Alex Fischer, one of Susan''s calculus students.
"Real" includes a collection of some older compositions, audience favorites, along with some new compositions and some classical songs from the Baptist hymn book. "Real" has something for everyone from rock guitars in "The Devil is a Liar" to ethereal voices in "Spirit of God".
