Nunn, Steve Fromholtz, Kevin Fowler, Pauline Reese, and Ray Price, and has recorded extensively in both Dallas and Austin. Whitfield is also a two-time winner of the Austin Songwriting competition. His debut solo project, "GW" features layers of lush guitar and vocal tracks on twelve beautifully written songs.
