MP3 Sean Carolan - Watching You
Old. Recorded when I was 16 on a 4 track cassette recorder. Somewhat dark and heavy. A dash of trippiness. People have enjoyed it. Even now. Scary.

ROCK: Experimental Rock
Watching you is a special album to me that is very close to my heart. WY, in my opinion, was a dramatic change with my style, both musically and lyrically. The music became more rehearsed, though hard to tell. Much better than previous albums. Also, my recording skills with effects improved quite a bit. The There’s No Room sessions (previous album) helped me because I did so much experimentation. Lyrically, I became more personal about my emotions and wasn’t afraid to hide them, such as with Never Want to Lose You. That song never made it on the original cassette, but the lyrics were included. In addition to the emotion part of the lyrics, I also became more creative as with Land on the Sea.
As I have spent many hours re-mixing and mastering the album, I was surprised how well the audio had survived over the 20 or so years. WY was originally recorded on a Tascam Porta-One 4 track recorder. Later on, I transferred the material to at ADAT and later to a computer. The first digital remix was done in Cubase and then redone using Digital Performer.
And the cover is obviously not me, just some model from an old ad in a printing mag.
