Four of the album''s nine tracks were added to full rotation at Athen''s WPUP 103.7. The record''s title track "Hip" is a sarcastic strike at the disciples of cult fads and assimilation. "My Spanish Puppetfinger" saw adds at 70 stations in the Southeast and Northeast. Hazel Virtue began to sell out venues in the Southeast before becoming the stereotypical "behind the music" breakup victims in 1999. The resting period was over in 2001 and now our rock lives on.
