The songs on the band''s eponymous EP are rooted in John W. Burton''s wide-ranging guitar sounds and unique vocal delivery. Dynamic fingerpicking mixes with seismic power chords and melodic solos to form a guitar style that is both innovative and familiar. Burton''s songs feature off-beat lyrics which combine a keen eye for detail and a dry sense of humor. The sound contains elements of punk and new wave, but a moody, bluesy quality is often present.
