Although she had sung there many times before, this night was different. "We know this will be a night to remember" said one of her supporters who drove from Newport News, VA along with her husband to be part of history in the making. With a stunning tomato red peplum suit, and being escorted by her husband of 10 years then, Christopher Simon, Aneisa took center stage amidst eight background vocals, Jocelyn Hill, Cherlita Clairborne, Margo Goggins, Roderick Giles, Alvin Jones, Chauna Geter, Lakeisha Goldsberry and Yolanda Miller. Excitement filled the air as producer, Paul Morgan, aka PJ, led a 4-piece band in an electrifying introduction to one of Aneisa''s hits, "Lord, You Reign". Appearing not to be moved by the thunderous applause and screams from the hundreds of fans who came to experience this event, Aneisa greeted everyone with a hearty "Praise the Lord!"
This is indicative of Aneisa''s personality. She does not look for the spotlight, and would prefer to be in the background. However, her wonderful gift continues to push her to the forefront.
