Nick Numbz was born and raised in Newark, New Jersey. After a four year hiatus he is back to record the new album P.A.T. (Pushing Against Time). The album is dedicated to his friend Pat that died almost a year ago and his untimely death has inspired him to get back in the studio to record for the first time in years. He is influenced by the music of Notorious BIG, Tupac Shakur, Jay-Z, Kanye West, Al Green and Marvin Gaye among others. Numbz says, "I am looking forward to recording this album because the time I had away from recording music has given me an opportunity to analyze the game, and to find myself as an artist. During this time off I have had a lot of time to think and I have gone through so many things that I want to speak my mind about." This album is highly anticipated for all those who know Numbz and he and many others consider his music to be "food for the soul." The album will be produced and directed by Newark''s own Choir Boy.
