Imperfect is a one-man musical entity based in Houston, TX.
Imperfect is Sean Valant and Sean Valant in Imperfect. Sean is also the singer and guitarist for Houston band Sense of Reason (https://www.tradebit.com), a political/philosophical/metaphysical explorative tour de force.
Imperfect music is predominately instrumental. This record contains vocals on just one song, a poem written and performed by Houston''s own Solana Lael.
Imperfect will never sign a recording contract with any recording company. Ever. Instead, Imperfect records are written, produced and recorded entirely independantly and sold primarily via the internet.
Imperfect''s debut, "A Book of Many Pages - Chapter I," is an ALBUM, in every sense of the word. Sean feels that the album, as an art form, has, with few exceptions, ceased to exist in modern music. Using unique programmed tracks, as well as live guitar, bass and keyboards, "Chapter I" finds Imperfect showcasing the ability to flow seamlessly between genres without sacrificing the cohesiveness of a solid record or straying too far from the heavy electronic style that Chapter I is rooted in.
Sean has also created an .mp3-only release, titled "The Electronic Symphony Project," which can be downloaded in it''s entirety @ https://www.tradebit.com That is not a mis-print, you can absolutely download a full-length (12 track), exclusive album for free https://www.tradebit.com!
Imperfect has embraced the new technologies that the mainstream industry has shied away from: so much so that "Chapter I" invites people to go ahead and burn copies of the disk for their friends right on the back cover artwork.
Imperfect will inevitably be a far-reaching force in the underground musical world.
