I’ve been a part of the Atlanta nightlife for years, and now it’s time I introduce myself to the world. I’m Mr. Delonso, and welcome to Lounge75 Recordings.
I’ve always been passionate about music, but by no means was I a child prodigy. I didn’t start singing when I was two years old or playing the piano at four. I’ve just always enjoyed different kinds of music, including house, R&B, hip hop, rock and electronic music. But it wasn’t until high school I realized I wanted a career in music. So, shortly after graduating from high school, I packed my duffle bag, grabbed my headphones, and headed to the Music Mecca of the South: Atlanta.
Soon after arriving in Atlanta, I enrolled at the Art Institute of Atlanta and earned a degree in Music Entertainment Management. While attending the Art Institute, I had the opportunity to intern at local record labels to learn more about the music business and establish connections in the industry. With the knowledge I gained, I began managing local hip hop and R&B artists. But after limited success and difficulty finding dedicated artists to work with, I changed directions. Instead of focusing on other artists, I figured it wouldn’t be such a bad idea to concentrate on developing my own musical talents. Following this new direction, I created Lounge75 Recordings.
The music that comes from Lounge75 Recordings is the perfect musical backdrop to your everyday life. It’s inspired by club experiences, dreams, and everyday life. In a way, I hope my music will help make the lives of others a little easier.
Lounge75 is not a physical place. Instead, the Lounge is a mental state where people can lose themselves and step away from the everyday norm. My goal is to take the listener on a musical journey to a mental plateau that is free of rules and boundaries. I strive to create music that listeners can enjoy and use to enhance their everyday lives.
The music I produce is an eclectic blend of musical styles. House, trance, hip-hop, electronica - it’s all in the Lounge. Whether a person wants to party, lounge, or simply relax and reflect, there’s a spot for them. The doors of Lounge75 are open to everyone.
