"Before You Wake" is Tim Ivery''s debut album. Recorded in the first half of 2004, although principally a rock album, the eleven tracks on the disc encompass a wide range of styles. From the driving blues/rock based "Mr Cunningham" to the anthemic acoustic ballad "Song for Everyone" and the reggae/calypso themed "Paradise, to the soaring guitar based rocky title track "Before You Wake" this album has a little something for everyone. The album is also available in a CD/DVD set which can be purchased directly from our website. Here''s what Tim had to say about the disc upon its release in June 2004:
"Before You Wake is principally a chronicle of the unspoken word. We have all been in situations in our lives where we just can''t sleep for whatever reason whilst the rest of the world, and more importantly the people we would most like to share our troubles with are sound asleep. Maybe you''ve had an argument with a lover, and you are lying awake watching her as the words you only wish you could utter to her remain forcibly muted. Or perhaps there is something major going down in your life and you are left troubled, awake and alone with your thoughts while the rest of the world sleeps, blissfully unaware of your torment. Before You Wake is a catalogue of some of my thoughts, feelings, and unspoken words, over the last few years. Even though the title may seem accusatory, it hasn''t always been that way, sometimes, as with all of us, the extended waking hours can be filled with happy thoughts. Any way, I hope you all enjoy the album" - Tim Ivery

Born in the UK on June 26th 1976, Tim spent much of his formative years travelling around the world with his family before settling back in the UK in 1988.
Music has always been a major influence in Tim''s life. From a very early age Tim was listening to everything from Bill Haley and the Comets to Rachmaninov. With such wide ranging influences, Tim refuses to be bracketed into one particular genre. His debut album "Before You Wake" is a typical example of the diversity of his projects.
As a musician Tim is completely self-taught, and although Tim has said that the piano will always remain his main strength, he has taught himself to play the guitar and a whole host of other instruments along the way. Tim started song writing in his early teens, and has continued to develop his craft, drawing on influences from every genre of music that comes his way. Over the years he has gained experience in production and engineering, and is now fully at easy both behind the piano or guitar and the mixing desk.
In his spare time Tim managed to graduate from one of the UK''s top law schools with an LLB honours degree and is currently in the process of finishing off a PhD in Intellectual Property Law.
Tim is currently doing some last minute post production on his second album "Down the road a little more...." ( twelve tracks of original songs in a 1940''s Rhythm & Blues/ 1950''s Rock''n''Roll style) due for release in June 2005, as well as starting work on his third album which is scheduled for release in December 2005.
