MP3 Jason Dean Band Experience - Joy in Mudville
Pure power pop--sweet and crunchy, smooth and tangy.
12 MP3 Songs
ROCK: Emo, POP: California Pop
Details:
Jason Dean began writing music as soon as he got his first guitar, a red-white-and-blue acoustic, for his 10th birthday. A succession of yearning ballads named for unattainable female classmates followed. At 15, formed his first band: Tyrant. Lost virginity soon thereafter.
Jason left his hometown of Bay City, Mich. 6 years later for San Diego and the San Francisco area before zeroing in on Los Angeles. During that time, he saturated the coffee house scene with earthy, political rants.
The music on Mudville bridges its emotional peaks and valleys with a sense of urgency, honesty, humor, and a little spirituality. It''s pure power pop: sweet and crunchy; smooth and tangy.

In 2003, Jason formed Spoonbender, which played a handful of L.A. shows before mysteriously vanishing. In early 2004, Jason formed Puddy Tat, an animated power pop unit that recently released a CD single assailing Bush and his thugs. For more info, visit https://www.tradebit.com.
