Fiercely underground Chicago rapper https://www.tradebit.coma honed his skills by battling in and around the Windy City with his clique the Ill State Assassins. The Caucasian rapper brought some underground respectability to a city''s hip-hop school that (apart from Common Sense) was hungry for respect. After a slew of vinyl-only releases and guest spots on other projects, https://www.tradebit.coma dropped his debut solo cd titled "Live From the Ill" in 1994. "Live From the Ill" boasted 12 tracks of rugged Chicago chin-checks with production conceived by the artist himself. The original cover art for "Live From the Ill" was drawn by legendary Chi-town graffiti artist "Slang", who later went on to do the artwork for 50 Cent''s "The Massacre" album. https://www.tradebit.coma''s high-strung style was clearly fashioned by a city of swirling influences, but his overall sound was more Old School East Coast than Left Coast. In 1996, E.C. caught enough respect to have his video for the single "On Ill", from his Illa LP album, featured on BET''s Rap City long before Detroit''s Eminem had achieved any crossover success.
