ABOUT JOE ROHAN:
As a drummer, he supplied his trademark grooves performing and recording with some of the best artists and bands to come out of the Midwest United States including Mothertrain, Chris Allen (Rosavelt), Anne DeChant, Will Bowen, Robin Stone, and Mike Farley.

Finally emerging as a solo artist, Joe Rohan joins the growing number of singer/songwriters that are reviving today''s popular music with a return to great songwriting.

Since the release of his debut CD "Walk Along," (June 2003) singer / songwriter Joe Rohan has developed a large audience and following that starts in northeast Ohio and reaches as far south as New Orleans, Louisiana. Joe''s music combines his funk, rock and jazz drumming roots with a driving acoustic sound, a ghosty dobroguitar, heartfelt storytelling and a clear, soulful singing voice. The result is powerful Pop Rock / Americana songs packed with irresistible grooves, infectious soulful melodies and a strong, gritty finish. Rohan''s contagious audience appeal is as apparent from the stage as it is in his music. In just a few short months he has opened for artists like James Taylor (August 2003), performed as a featured artist at the Cutting Edge New Music Conference in New Orleans (August 2003), and performed for live, radio and television audiences from Ohio to the Gulf Coast. His songs have been featured on MTV''s "Real World vs. Road Rules and his current CD title track "Walk Along" and single "Desert Love" are currently spinning on local and regional college radio.

In February of 2004, Joe was voted American Roots Artist of the year at the 2004 Cleveland Free Times Music Awards.

Need a comparison? Just listen and you''ll hear multiple influences of Dave Matthews, John Hiatt, Tom Petty, Nickel Creek, John Mayer and a splash of Jimi Hendrix. In the end, it''s just powerful music that takes you on a great ride!
