Jerry Hilton Biography
Hi, my name is Jerry Hilton from Baltimore, Maryland and Spokane, WA. Currently, I perform locally around Spokane, WA doing charity benefit concerts. I am a singer-songwriter that excels at performing classics, but I have range to carry other genre of music. During 1971, I worked and performed in Las Vegas and Sidney, Australia. I returned to Baltimore, Maryland in 1972 to help with the family business. After staying in Baltimore to help the family, I returned too and stayed within the church preaching and performing music with the church choir. In 2005, after more family issues arose, I went back to Rogersville, TN. This was to put flowers on my grandparents and great-grandparents grave to fulfill promises I made. In Rogersville, TN, I spoke to my family members and local historians that made mention of the blood ties between all Presley family members. During this time, I watched a special on Oprah Winfrey that verified this information. I discovered on this trip that my relatives were cousins of Elvis through Dunnan Presley. Based on current research, I am a 6th cousin of Elvis. I recorded my 1st album in 2005 located at Sun Studios. After the success of this album, I was encouraged to follow the dream again, which was to sing professionally. In 2006, I recorded my 2nd album also located at Sun Studios. During this time of singing Elvis songs, I was inspired to write my own music celebrating Elvis and his legacy on the world. The songs I have written will be released in the first part year. My dream is sing and share music around the world.
