John is an independent singer/songwriter with a wide array of influences that serve to shape his music. His knack for melody, hooks, and lyrical depth pay homage to a childhood spent continuously exploring the works of The Beatles, Cheap Trick, Pink Floyd, Queen, and so many others. In fact, he learned the drums with AC/DC''s "Highway To Hell" album and used his many other musical inspirations to teach himself to play the guitar and sing as well.

His debut CD "Does Not Play Well With Others" is a themed album that takes an introspective and sometimes dark look at personal relationships. This collection of 15 songs showcases his laidback performing style, layered guitars, and lush harmonies. A true solo project, John played and sang nearly all of the parts while acting as his own engineer/producer.

A native of Maryland with a dry wit, he developed his talents while working with numerous local bands and studio projects. Easily filling the roles of both bassist and vocalist, he quickly found himself in demand and anxious to play simply for the sheer joy of making music. In mid 2002 he followed his muse to begin the monumental task of putting together a solo album, and achieved his goal 18 months later. Currently John resides in Houston Texas, and continues to write and record new material.
