ABOUT JUSTIN K. KNIGHT
An exceptional speaker, author, pianist, recording artist, and composer who is sought after around the country. Justin is a licensed and ordained Minister and is at First Baptist Church, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma as their Music Evangelist. Justin has performed in events with recording artists John Tesh, Twila Paris, Natalie Grant, Selah, Bob Carlisle, and Nichole C. Mullin to name just a few.
He has performed special events and headlined for authors and speakers Ruth Graham, Stormie Omartian, Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins, Dave and Jan Dravecky, H. Norman Wright, and Josh McDowell among others. Justin ministered in music at "Ground Zero" in New York City after the tragedies of 911 to thousands that were grieving. Justin will be performing and speaking in April 2005 to our US Military Troops at Ramstein Air Force Base in Germany. His music has been described as soothing and refreshing. A concert and performance by Justin can be described as intimate and inspiring. His speaking engagements can be described as powerful and life changing. Some have called Justin "The David of the 21st Century" and others have called him "The Christian Yanni".
Justin began writing music at the age of six and today has produced eight CDs and one video that continue to impact lives around the world. His video is entitled "Peace" and his CD recordings are "Quiet Times", "Rest", "A Grand Christmas", "It Is Well", "Piano Therapy", "Try To Remember", "Soothe", and the newest CD is entitled "Time With You". His newest CD combines spoken prayer and scripture with his instrumental music in the background to create a literal quiet time to lead the listener into a deeper relationship and walk with God. Justin''s other seven music CDs consist of a blend of beautiful, peaceful soft piano music with an orchestra background. His new book to be released in 2005 is entitled "Capturing The Heart of God". It will lead the reader on an inspiring journey from brokenness to intimacy and wholeness with God.
Justin began performing music professionally by playing in fine restaurants and large bookstores, and teaching piano in a music school. Today he performs and speaks nationally on television and radio, at schools to students and teachers, and at many different churches and national conferences reaching thousands of people. He is sought after as a motivational speaker and pianist. Justin has been on major television stations around the country. Some of the programs he has been on are CBS, ABC, NBC, TBN, LESEA Broadcasting Network, Daystar Television, Atlanta Live Program, Babbie Mason''s Program, and Time For Hope Program.
His music is used in public schools as a music therapy tool. He speaks to teachers on the power and affects of music on learning and behavior. He performs and speaks to students of all ages in school assemblies. He talks to students about character, integrity, discipline, and having dreams and setting goals. His mission is to get his music into every classroom in America.
His music has been also been recognized as a music therapy tool by organizations around the country. Some of these organizations are: American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC), American Counseling Association (ACA), National Middle School Association (NMSA), Oklahoma Childcare Association (OCA), Oklahoma Education Association (OEA), Laureate Psychiatric Hospital and Clinic, Baptist Retirement Centers of Oklahoma, as well as by many public and Christian schools, hospitals, doctors, and counselors. He and his wife, Charla, are the founders of The David Project, Inc. a 501 (c) 3 non-profit corporation.
In Justin''s third grade yearbook, he was asked what he wanted to be when he grew up. He said his dream was to be a minister. Through instrumental music, Justin will lead you through the green pastures and beside the still waters as he leads you into the presence of God.
