Junkyphunk is the project of veteran musician, Phil Lee (a.k.a. "Philly"), who started playing guitar when he was 10 years old and became a multi-instrumentalist by his mid-20''s. His profound love for the art of music has recently manifested itself within the muse of Junkyphunk. All of the instrumentation and vocalization on this album is channeled through him. Though largely electronically based, Junkyphunk has the style and feel of a live band.
Phil records all the music for Junkyphunk in his home studio in Austin, TX, where his own life and experience has become the basis for his musical inspiration.
