„We want to make music, we really love“ - that was the general chorus when we finished our first meeting about forming Stormbringer in autumn 2000. After years of destraction from our real rockroots - we five came from different directions: Jazz, Folk, Funk, Heavy Metal,... - we longed to play the music we grew up with: Purple, Stones, Toto, AC/DC, Whitesnake, Aerosmith etc.
After a few rehearsals we headed for the stage and had some really fine gigs in Burgenland, most of them in front of approx. 300 listeners.
Soon we began to play our own songs and (rather successfully) took part in some band contests in Burgenland and Vienna. Before we recorded our first promo CD including the songs Back in Town, Got The Love, Millennium Song, Feel the Night, I don´t mind a. s. o. we had some fine adventures when we supported bands like „Chris Farlowe“, „CCR - Double Band“ and „Wilfried“.
Our latest CD „Coming!“ contains some great songs, written during the last years, and we are really proud to present it to the whole world with the help of CD Baby.
We´re still on the road, with dates mainly in Austria; and the five Fingers of the strong Stormbringer Hand are: Harry Fink (Keyboards), John „Flowbe“ Zierhut (guitars), Fraggle Scheiblhofer (bass), Sascha Colby (vocals) and Andy Göschl (drums).
Finally we´d like to thank all our fans for their support and all readers and listeners for their interest; and hope to see or hear you somewhere out there ! So ROLL OVER and ROCK ON !
