Through Tony Tatum’s worship experience we are able to go into our own throne room to worship Christ with our mind, heart, and spirit.
At the young age of 11, this Saginaw, Michigan native started singing for his church choir growing into a young man blessing everyone with his smooth and sultry voice. His journey took off while performing in different groups and competing in various talent shows and community events. Before his calling to be one of Gods Warriors he like so many of us was drawn to secular music and R & B took a hold on his life.
Tony continued to market himself to find that big break and never gave up on the opportunity to sing the music he loved. In 2004 he sung for the Detroit Pistons Championship Rally in Saginaw Michigan. Then by a twist of fate he was placed in a position to finally be on stage as one of Keith Sweats background singers from 2005 to New Year of 2008.
Thankful for the opportunity to be on tour with Keith Sweat, God began to continually speak to his heart. Day by day he started to become lost in the word of God and all he could think about was singing and writing for the lord. As he began to read "Fighting For Your Destiny", by Bishop Gary Hawkins, Sr. and "The Purpose Driven Life, by Rick Warren, he quit the Keith Sweat tour and has written multiple gospel songs giving his time and talents back to the church. Tony has witnessed many who took the opportunity to stay in the music industry singing for the world but believes that God was preparing him for favor and planted his footsteps in a path of righteousness to be a blessing to the Kingdom.
