Many years ago, Nick Miller (guitar, vocals) produced a CD for the band "5x Fast", which featured Joel Grant on guitar and Nick Evert on drums. That band broke up, and in September of 2004, Nick Miller snatched up the two young chaps! Then they added Dacian Gingrich on bass, and the original Icarus Landing lineup was completed!
Since then, they have played all over Ohio, including all of the major rock venues in Cleveland. They have released two EPs: The self-produced and distributed CD entitled "Prologue" was completed in August of 2005; and "Evolution", which was produced by Don Debiase (Forever in Terror, Beneath the Sky, Driver Side Impact).
Summer 2007 saw the band embark upon their first ever Midwestern tour with North Carolina band Agrolola. Icarus Landing performed in Cleveland, Chicago, Nashville, St. Louis, as well as many other locations. In 2007, Icarus Landing also completed their 3rd EP which is now being released digitally.
Feeling that their hometown of Cleveland, Ohio had given them just about all it could give, the band packed up and headed for the West Coast in early 2008. They are currently located in Los Angeles, California, where they are soaking up plenty of sunshine and writing tons of new material! Stay tuned for yet another new CD from Icarus Landing.
