Details:
Tony Lunn is a singer songwriter from Los Angeles who fronted a band called Erodine for the last couple years. He has played everywhere in L.A including the House of Blues, The Hotel Cafe and The Whiskey and has been hard at work on his debut album on which he enlisted the help of his former bandmates. He is currently playing in L.A, San Francisco and Chicago (his hometown). Tony Lunn has recently had songs played on the WB and MTV TV shows. His 1st album "The Last Days Of Diresville", an eclectic mix of acoustic and electric roots rock is available on line at https://www.tradebit.com, https://www.tradebit.com and at Aaron''s Record Store.

Having fronted several bands over the years, including Brementown (in Chicago), Sunday Driver and Erodine in Los Angeles, it was time to shed the band names and just play as Tony Lunn. "After playing a few acoustic shows in Chicago and San Francisco, everyone was asking for my CD, I realized that I needed my own identity." The record was started 2 years ago with producer Rick Parker (Miranda Lee Richards, Joe Firstman) at Sandbox Studios and a few months later, John X (David Bowie, Mazzy Star) took over. "John X is by far one of the most talented mixers out there for independent artists, he has a sixth sense for what artists want". Recorded over 5 days at SoundCastle Studios in SilverLake and mixed in John''s living room, the record is a mix of Rock, Roots and Songwriting". "Most people will label it as an Americana album or an Alt-Country record, but this is a rock record to me". "Rock is not one thing. Rock is eclectic: it''s blues and folk and country and soul all rolled up together. That''s what this record is to me."

Among the Musicians that played on the record are Greg McMullan, a New York Multi-Instrumentalist who plays with Chris Whitley and Reeves Gabrel among others, and Michael KinKade, A Drummer who plays everything form Cereal boxes to Heating Grates on the record. "We worked really hard on this record and it took a long time make. Im also pretty broke now from spending money on this record so Im hoping that we can find a label, do some tours and sell some records. That''s the plan. "I''ve worked hard on it for so long and really tried to make a solid record, so all I can ask is that people take the time and really listen to it. That would be great." "Plus, I''ve got a lot of new songs so Ill be ready to make another record as soon as possible."

Tony Lunn is currently playing with Jim Lacey baker and his wife Dani of Walkie Talkie and having a great time doing "Dirt Joint Wednesday" with Walkie Talkie at The Tempest Bar in Hollywood. He has a large fan base back in Chicago and tries to get back there for shows as often as possible.
