I am Meghann Robinson, singer/songwriter. It is what I was made to do. I am a go-hard. I find my voice everyday. I knew the first minute of my first show that I would do this forever. I am a performer. It is what I was built for.
I began playing in college after years of paper lyrics and envious nights as an audience member. Six months later, in a few lucky moments of unbridled belief in what could be and with two original songs, I moved to NYC to become a singer/songwriter. I didn''t really know what that meant, but I have spent the last year 2 years finding out. For the first few months I found a couple of jobs and started playing the open mic night scene. Soon I started playing shows and within a year, I was playing the legendary Bitter End. Since last August I have played The Knitting Factory, CBGBs, Pianos, Tribeca Rock Club, and the C-Note. I am currently releasing a 4 song EP entitled Drive.
My next step is to go beyond NYC, and I am not entirely sure what that means...but I look forward to more happy accidents and lucky moments of finding out what can be.
