Indianapolis based Missing Six has evolved from a simple alternative rock band into an eclectic cross-genre entity in a span of two and a half years.
Missing Six began building a loyal following in Indianapolis and the small towns of Indiana as they gigged throughout 2003. The band went in to the studio later that same year with well-known producer Paul Mahern (John Mellancamp, The Pieces, Loretta) to record an ambitious full-length album titled "The Philadelphia Experiment." Soon after the release of the album the band went through a unexpected line-up change which has allowed Missing Six to evolve and expand their sound.
The change meant welcoming drummer Phil Milam. Phil''s jazz background added a new element to the band''s already eclectic style. The band has been writing and rehearsing new material over the past year.
Missing Six plans to record a follow-up album and resume an extensive gigging schedule in 2005.
