Details:
Escape Act formed in summer 2006, in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The three-piece produce upbeat, alternative guitar-based pop songs and have been compared to the likes of The Clash, Pixies, The Smiths, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Superchunk.
The band self-released a three track EP ''Hot Air'' in 2007 before working on new recordings with producer Andy Miller at Chem19 studios, Glasgow. A single ''God Says'' was released in June 2008 on limited 7" vinyl, followed by the 10-track album ''Loosely Based On Fiction'' in October 08.
