Westover Hills Assembly of God Church is located in San Antonio, Texas. Pastor Jim Rion and his wife Denise started Westover Hills Assembly of God in 1986, meeting in a small rented space with just a few people. Now positioned on a 30-acre campus and averaging a weekly attendance of more than 3,000, the church has grown into a thriving, diverse congregation that has been ranked on Outreach Magazine''s list of the 101 Fastest Growing U.S. Churches for two consecutive years. Despite the huge growth, the Rion''s vision for Westover Hills remains the same. "Making New, Making Great" is what the church is all about - "Making New" by introducing people to Christ and "Making Great" by leading believers into the abundant life that comes with spiritual maturity.
The music ministry is led by Pastor Jermaine Rodriguez and his wife Eunice. Pastor Jermaine is a worship leader, song-writer, sound technician, producer, and musician. He has a heart for worship and a heart for people. He released his first album, "Pastor Jermaine", in 2004. Westover Hills Music Ministry released its first album, "Westover Hills Worship", in September 2007. Their most recent project, "Something Good", reflects the diverse musical styles evident in their worship - Latin, R&B, Black Gospel, and Contemporary Christian sounds.
